Friendship…can we say…friendship is another form of love?No!Friendship is just a mere likeness that usually result from PLAIN LOVE however,by defination,friendship is a promise made in the heart quietly unwritten,unchangeable by time and unbreakable by distance but resides in the heart forever.
By the defination one should know what friendship is all about but why is friendship usually seems stronger between opposite sex than same sex? That is the issue in question and has put families in questions as well where a jealous fiance/husband might think perhaps her partner’s/wife’s best friend might be in a relationship unknown with his partner/wife probably because of the close relationships they keep with each other and vice versa which should not be.Well,here are some reason why it so:
First,caring,when opposite sex are in friendship relationship,they do care for each other than same sex and this caring is one of the major factors that aid love.In this regard,it is plain love.
Secondly,TENDERNESS,this is a natural feature of female that make them fall often easily for things and there by creat channel for devotion in their friendship.
Practical,this s another factor that makes the relationship between opposite sex stronger.Friendship between opposite sex is like a trial for mostly BOYS/MEN who are still single against their marriage and this make them devote most of their time and concentrate to the friendship relationship they keep with the hope that that is the picture of how they will keep and treat their family when they become family MAN.
Understanding,friendship relationship that exist between opposite sex will never suffer this as they always put things together whenever things get out of hand and smoothing up the relationship again.
And most of all,The Power of Invisibility that exist between two invisible things such as:North-South of Magnet that attracts,Friction among others.This same power attracts opposite sex in human being too.And aids the strenght of relationships between opposite sex.  Read more... The Indian culture is yet to come to terms when it comes to friendship between a Male and Female.The initial reaction is that of a wide eyed hawk looking for a scoop in it. Although, we have shown tremendous growth on social and economic front however our minds are yet to respond positively to this relationship. In the West, which is a yardstick for many of us, the friendship is just viewed as a greater and comfortable interaction between two persons. It does not matter much whether the concerned people are both males both females or male and female. I think we need to awaken up to this reality of life where this kind of friendship needs to be viewed with a positive frame of mind.

All our mythologicals have mostly mentioned about the friendship between males only. So, this mentality owes its inception to this period.The changing times could hardly reverse the trend. The male dominated society continued to guide the destiny of the people with this mentality. It’s a fact that most of the kings had a harem of women for their pleasure but we are yet to come across one queen who had this kind of facility for her.

Anyway, we are not advocating the need of harems but highlighting the need for positive and healthy friendship between male and females. Following wrongs doesn’t make us right so whatever wrongs we follow needs to be amended. Even the Indian constitution since its inception has recorded several amendments. We learn the value of friendship from a very early age. True friendship is unconditional: it is an enigma – selfless loving and giving. Perhaps we are too busy pursuing our careers that we tend to ignore the most beautiful thing in our lives: love and friendship. Everyone has different ideas about relationships and the approach may differ. It helps one to know that there are ‘givers and takers’ in this world and a role reversal is quite unlikely. Friends may disappoint you sometimes by not living up to your expectations. One who feels that he or she is putting more into relationships need not feel nobler as others may not feel the same. Before you judge someone it is prudent to consider that he or she may be incapable of love or friendship in the same way. Therefore, it is the interpretation of the measure of love or friendship that is under scrutiny; perhaps the person who realises this has earned the right to be noble.
